Update on Charles

Monday, August 13th, 2007

Charles (Poochie) has been in the hospital a week with pneumonia, we are home, but he still has the pneumonia in one lung and also has a blood clot in his jugular at his Medi-port tube location.

The Chemo treatment have been halted for now, he is not recovering well enough between injections.

It is very easy to get discouraged when you are so sick, please pray for his spirit and for mine. We are very blessed with a loving family and friends, we know that God will supply all our needs.

We are new to Shareacard and we would like to thank you for the encouragement you have given to us already.

Love in Christ
Sue

Update on Cindy

An Update received from Cindy’s husband, Richard

Cindy is currently getting better with the ability to eat without IV’s. She did have another major surgery in January-the middle of February. Then readmitted in March for dehydration and anemia. Placed on a pain pump using a Medport (chest IV)through home health care. Unable to leave the house and not having difficulty with coming off the medication. Please pray for this is heart wrenching to watch her suffer. God has blessed us in so many ways-may He continue to be the ultimate “physican”. He made her body and He knows how to fix it. Thank you again for the out pour of cards received it really gave her hope that she so desperately needs. Thank you.

Update and Thanks from Nancy

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

Hello Everyone!

Just would like to let you know that I had some positive news from my CT scan. Drugs are helping to block the blood flow of the tumors to keep them from growing. Not a cure, but a step in the right direction. Very welcome news to me after all the negative reports I have had.

Thanks too for all the cards and prayers – they meant so much.

Just wanted to shre!

Thanks again.

Nancy O.

I received this message from Kristine, Nancy’s daughter:

My mother had asked me to contact you to see if you could post her
thank you note on the website to let everyone know how grateful she is for all the cards,
and I would like to also thank you personally for doing this for her,
you would not believe how positive this has made her.
It is such a wonderful feeling to hear the excitement in her voice,
when she started getting cards & flowers.
As of today she went for her Petscan and isn’t expecting the results
til early next week, so please keep her in your prayers and
I will let you know how she made out once I hear.
Thanks again! Kristine

Update on Mary

This update came Thru Cindy from Mary’s daughter, Cindy

Mary’s surgery went off without a glitch. The cancerous growth was very small,
not nearly as big as they first thought. Of course it was sent to Calif. for biopsy, but they also biopsied a piece there at the hospital. The results are extremely good. She will not need chemo or radiation! Because of possible microscopic pieces that may be remaining, she will go to the Dr.’s every Fri. for the next 6 weeks, and they will insert some sort of medicine that she needs to hold in for 2 hrs. by laying on her front, back, and both sides for 15 min. each. And that’s it! She very much wanted me to thank whom ever sent the flowers!!!! (That was ShareaCard, made possible thru donations!) She said they were absolutely gorgeous! She was so surprised and very thankful. It really cheered her up! And all the prayers!!! She was actually very calm, before she went to surgery, just knowing so many people were praying for her, and that gave her strength!!! And she wasn’t afraid.
