This update came Thru Cindy from Mary’s daughter, Cindy
Mary’s surgery went off without a glitch. The cancerous growth was very small,
not nearly as big as they first thought. Of course it was sent to Calif. for biopsy, but they also biopsied a piece there at the hospital. The results are extremely good. She will not need chemo or radiation! Because of possible microscopic pieces that may be remaining, she will go to the Dr.’s every Fri. for the next 6 weeks, and they will insert some sort of medicine that she needs to hold in for 2 hrs. by laying on her front, back, and both sides for 15 min. each. And that’s it! She very much wanted me to thank whom ever sent the flowers!!!! (That was ShareaCard, made possible thru donations!) She said they were absolutely gorgeous! She was so surprised and very thankful. It really cheered her up! And all the prayers!!! She was actually very calm, before she went to surgery, just knowing so many people were praying for her, and that gave her strength!!! And she wasn’t afraid.
Sharon is recuperating. They did have to cut her very deep, however she is home now. Surgeons won’t know if they got it all until the lab reports come back in about 2 weeks. So everyone please pray that there is now more cancer. She has been thru enough already. I will keep up updated.

Please let everyone know that Sharon is having a Mastectomy today because the tumor has become so large and cancerous as well as her lymph nodes. I am so sad that she is having to go through this, after everything I have been through–it seems like nothing. Having one of your breasts removed has to be one of the hardest things to endure. Please send her cards to cheer her, thank you. If you have any questions, let me know.
My condition is getting worse, medications are not helping. I am getting so tired of fighting this disease.

An update on our possible April features has left us with one feeling she is not sick enough to be a feature and the other passed away earlier in the week

Home Health care. My condition is like a roll a coaster.
I’m not far from having a feed tube place, since I can’t eat.
I just had the mediport
in so I can get the treatment I need to function.”
